Our vision is to build a more inclusive, healthier and happier community by ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or abilities, has equal access to the game of golf and the lifelong benefits that our sport provides.
People who participate in golf enjoy
A game for life
Golf isn’t just a sport; it’s a lifelong activity that provides physical, mental, and emotional health benefits for all who play.
Increased confidence
Golf empowers children to develop at their own pace, building self-confidence and resilience in an environment that supports their personal journey.
Increased health and wellbeing
Golf nurtures overall wellness by encouraging physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional balance, all while fostering social connections and outdoor engagement. Golfers live five years longer than non-golfers.
Strengthened family units
Golf brings families together, creating shared experiences and lasting memories, while fostering stronger family bonds.
Inclusivity and enjoyment
Golf offers a unique blend of enjoyment and safety. It’s a sport where children can thrive without the pressures of physical competition, making it accessible to all.
A lifetime of leadership skills
Beyond the game, golf instills crucial life skills – honesty, respect, perseverance, and self-motivation – that prepare young people to succeed both on and off the course.

Hannah Green
Australian Professional Golfer
ALPG Tour and LPGA Tour
Professional wins 13
GA Rookie Program Member 2017, 2018, 2019
Hannah Green’s journey in golf began at Hillview Public Golf Course in Perth, inspired by her father’s encouragement. Her passion for the sport was sparked at a Graham Marsh Junior Golf Foundation camp in 2010, leading to her selection for the state team and participation in the Aussie Juniors. By age 15, Hannah was determined to pursue a professional golf career.
As an amateur, Hannah’s achievements were impressive. In 2015, she finished second at the New Zealand Open and was awarded the Karrie Webb Scholarship.
Turning professional in 2016, Hannah was granted a GA Rookie Program scholarship and had an outstanding first full season. She secured 12 top-10 finishes on the LPGA Futures Tour and earned the Gaelle Truet Rookie of the Year award. This achievement granted her a spot on the LPGA Tour for the 2018 season. She concluded the 2017 season with victories at the Sara Bay Classic, Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout, and IOA Golf Classic.
Hannah’s major breakthrough came in 2019 when she won the Women’s PGA Championship, narrowly defeating defending champion Sung Hyun Park by one stroke. She also won the LPGA Portland Classic.
She has continued to excel, winning the LA Championship in 2023 and 2024, as well as the 2024 Women’s World Championship and Ladies Championship. These victories have propelled her into the top 10 of the world golf rankings. Additionally, she has received the Greg Norman Medal twice, awarded to the best Australian professional golfer on the world stage.
Hannah is not only an outstanding golfer but also an inspiring role model. She has been actively engaged with the AGF’s Junior Girls Scholarship Program and has made significant donations to the program via the Golf Australia Give Back Program, whereby athletes give back once they reach professional milestones.
