There are many ways that you can support the Australian Golf Foundation to help make a real difference by positively impact people’s lives through the game of golf, and to contribute to a healthier Australian community.

MAKE A DONATION

Every donation helps ensure that Australian golf will thrive into the future.  

 

Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and can be made via the Australian Sports Foundation who is our official fundraising partner and is the only deductible gift recipient for sport in Australia.

LEAVE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL

Australian Golf Foundation offers the opportunity to ensure that Australian golf remains strong and thrives.

Leaving a gift in your will enables your legacy to continue by providing crucial support in an area of golf that you are passionate about or alternatively to provide to the Foundation’s endowment.

 

If you are planning to leave a gift in your will to the Australian Golf Foundation we recommend that you discuss your wishes with your family and solicitor and Contact Us for our Executive Director to assist you.

 

Through advising us of your plans, you will become part of a special group.  

HOW TO LEAVE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL

If you are considering leaving a gift to Australian Golf Foundation, your solicitor can advise you on the best way to do this. 

 

You may wish to update your existing Will with an addendum or click here for sample wording to insert a clause in your Will.

Can I remain anonymous?

Yes – if you choose to inform us of your intentions you can also request that your gift remains anonymous.

Do I need to let Australian Golf Foundation know about my intentions?

No – it is not necessary to let us know about your intentions. We would however, welcome the opportunity to thank you for your gift.

​

Can I change my will?

Yes – you can change your will at any time.

​

What makes a Will valid?

To be valid a Will must:

  • Be in writing (whether handwritten, typed or printed).

  • Be signed; and

  • Your signature must be witnessed by two other people who also need to sign the will.

Australian Golf Foundation is building a culture of giving and we encourage you to join us through organising your own fundraising campaign at your club or facility.

Fundraising is a very simple thing to do and provides a great way to make a real difference.    

 

Our fundraising partner, the Australian Sports Foundation works with sports at all levels to help them achieve their fundraising goals.
